The Socio-Cultural Significance of Being Guided
Staci Mannella is a PhD candidate, researcher, therapist, and speaker specializing in sport psychology. A visually impaired two-time Paralympic alpine skier (Sochi 2014, PyeongChang 2018), her work is deeply informed by both her lived experience and the experiences of other athletes. Through her research and clinical practice, she aims to advance and redefine sport psychology and mental health care for athletes with disabilities.
