Dr. Andrea Bundon

Andrea Bundon is an Associate Professor in the School of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia and a Principal Investigator at the International Collaboration on Repair Discoveries (ICORD) – an institute dedicated to research serving those living with spinal cord injuries. Her research spans the sociology of sport and critical disability studies and explores topics related to sport, disability, gender, equity, and athlete wellbeing. Andrea has also published extensively on the use of social media and web-based communications in sport and by athletes and on the use of digital technologies by qualitative sport researchers (i.e. the use of digital platforms in qualitative methods and methodologies). She serves as an Associate Editor of the Sociology of Sport Journal and was a founding board member of the International Society for Qualitative Research in Sport and Exercise.
