Personal Powered Transfer System

The PPTS is a promising robotic transfer system that may aid in the higher independence of powered wheelchair users and provide a safer solution for transfers.

Future work will focus on making improvements to the current prototype. Future design considerations include the addition of a mechanism for trunk support, customizable transfer speed, and a user-friendly touchscreen interface.
