FOCUS GROUP VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Development and Evaluation of Powered Personal Transfer System (PPTS)

This research study aims to make revisions to the design criteria of the prototype PPTS to improve independent transfers in and out of bed.

YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IF YOU ARE:

Over the age of 18 years

• Either a:
  VETERAN Mobility device user,
  Clinician (physician, nurse, and therapist), non-medical attendant, family member or a friend who provides assistance to a mobility device user.

PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ASKED TO:

• Watch a demonstration of the system.
• Provide comments and feedback along with a group of 5-7 participants.

The focus group will take no longer than two hours. Participants may be compensated up to $25 for completing the study. Location: Microsoft Teams or at the Human Engineering Research Laboratories (Bakery Square, 6425 Penn Ave., Suite 400, Pittsburgh, PA, 15206).
