HERL Awarded $1 Million USDOT Grant

The Human Engineering Research Laboratories, within the University of Pittsburgh and in consortium with the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and the Catholic University of America, have been selected for award of one of four new Tier 1 University Transportation Center grants from the US Department of Transportation. HERL will use this grant to research the effects of accessible autonomous vehicles and other mobility services.
