HERL researchers Eric Sinagra and Jonathan Duvall, along with Pitt undergraduates Tianyang Chen, Ian McIntyre, and Dianna Stuckey, won the University of Pittsburgh Innovation Institute’s Randall Family Big Idea Award on the strength of their PathMeT device for measuring the roughness of public sidewalks and other surfaces. They will receive $20,000 to use towards commercializing the device. Dr. Jon Pearlman is the faculty advisor for this outstanding project and group of students.

Congratulations to the PathMeT team on this terrific opportunity!
