HERL Researchers Win 2nd & 3rd at Randall Big Idea

Deepan Kamaraj finished 2nd and Brandon Daveler finished 3rd in the Randall Family Big Idea Competeition. Both are HERL researchers.

The Big Idea competition, operated by the University’s Innovation Institute, is one of the region’s largest student startup pitch competitions, awarding $100,000 each year, with the goal of fostering Pitt’s growing culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. Students from freshman to post-docs can participate, and this year there was representation from nearly all of the university’s 16 schools.
